Intern Component Design
Responsibilities may be quite diverse and are exempt non-technical in nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short time periods during breaks from school.
This internship will include doing work in some combination of the following areas at the appropriate level for a Bachelor of Science student intern: RTL or verification work on a specific fabric or fuse controller. Intern will develop tests, checker or coverage point for verification. May debug tests. Exact internship experience mix will be dependent on intern's specific interests and knowledge base against the needs of the current internship. This description is not all-inclusive; it is provided to give an idea of the content of the anticipated internship.
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
1.Ability to perform RTL coding in Verilog and/or System Verilog and UArch design
- Must be pursuing a BS in EE or Computer Science or related fields.
- Working understanding of a Linux based design environment, typical digital design tools, test plan development, test writing/debug, tracking and resolution of design bugs
- Must have one or more of the below qualifications :
2.Ability to develop verification coding methods using assertions
3.Ability to plan and complete block level verification
4.Ability to do TCL coding.
- Must have the permanent, unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
- Prior knowledge of IO interfaces, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SATA and/or other of industry standard interface interconnect technologies would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of VMM and OVM
- Prior knowledge of fabrics such as AHB
