Purpose of the Position:|
Working with managers and division/corporate HR team, performs/coordinates hiring activities, including sourcing, advertising, interviewing, conducting reference and background checks, generating and completing Sybase internal forms and processes (employment requisition form, offer form, salary analysis, interview form, etc.).
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as consultant to hiring managers on all staffing planning including logistics, succession planning, team formation, strategic and tactical recruitment advertising and college and outreach recruitment programs. Assists managers and division/corporate HR team in development of planning and recruitment strategies. Develops sourcing mechanisms for candidates. Identifies, screens, interviews, and evaluates candidates for open positions. Conducts reference checks. Provides recommendations to hiring managers. Provides overview information to candidates on job requirements, Sybase benefits, culture, and work environment. Assists with negotiation of offers and management of hiring process. Coordinates and assists in the administration of requisitions and offer approval process. Submits required recruiting reports and related documentation for HR staffing records. Coordinates with other recruiters as necessary.
