The Customer Care Associate acts as the primary point of contact for the Pharmacy Department responding to a variety of telephone inquiries regarding Pharmacy services and related matters. You will be challenged and expected to learn many things quickly, but our supportive and team-based environment, and the experience of helping injured clients in their time of need is highly rewarding for all of our employees.

HOURS ARE MON-FRIDAY 12:30PM-9:00PM with ROTATING SATURDAYS FROM 8:00AM-NOON. MUST BE FLEXIBLE

Responsibilities:
  • You will work in a very fast–paced environment
  • Utilize the IWP’s systems/computer programs to accurately enter and update the client’s medication profiles and verified information
  • Responsible for addressing all pharmacy related issues with clients, physicians and attorneys and ensuring all pharmacy related information and prescriptions are accurate and compliant with all state and federal regulations
  • Be proactive in ensuring that clients receive medications on time, expedite refill request to physician on behalf of the client
  • Employ professional telephone techniques and maintain a professional demeanor while answering inbound telephone inquiries from IWP Clients related to customer issues

Required Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years Client Service or Call Center Experience
  • Registered pharmacy technician a plus but not required
  • Prior Worker’s Compensation, Healthcare, or Insurance experience is a plus but not required
