Responsibilities:

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize implementation projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes working with department heads and other implementation team members, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver implementation according to plan. The Implementation Project Manager will define, track, and monitor implementations as per ikaSystems Implementation Methodology and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Essential Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Project and Practice management
    • Create, execute, monitor, and track implementation project plans.
    • Manage day-to-day operational aspect of the implementation and provide timely status update to management
    • Hands on experience with software product implementations in healthcare domain
    • Hands on experience with SDLC and Product Life Cycle (PLC) Management
    • Effectively apply Project Management 101 principles
    • Capacity Management, work coordination, resource planning
    • Change agent for best practices
    • Technical Understanding
      • Possesses general understanding in areas of application programming (C#), Database (ORACLE or SQL Server) and system design
      • Understanding of client/server architecture and SOA framework
      • General awareness of upcoming technologies
      • Leadership
        • Inspires teams and coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
        • Identifies opportunities for improvements and makes appropriate suggestions

      • Hands on experience with MS-Project
      • Proficient in – MS Office Suite (powerpoint, visio, word, excel
      • Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and SharePoint
Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors and 5-7 years of software implementation project management experience
  • Masters and 3-5 years of software implementation project management experience

Management Responsibilities:
  • Execute and Manage ikaSystems Implementation Methodology
  • Coordinate Implementation communication and delivery
  • Conduct weekly status meetings as well as periodic management update meetings
  • Provide monthly Release Health-Check dashboard to management
  • Process improvements and management tools development

Additional Considerations (Shifts, Physical Requirements, etc.):
  • Travel: Up-to 75% travel is required
  • Normal Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Extended hours support is required at times based on the need
