Position will learn the operations of the R&D Analytical Laboratory; calibrate, maintain and operate a variety of testing equipment in lab - analyses include moisture, fat, ash, protein, minerals, vitamins along with several physical analyses including particle size, rheological characteristics, and microscopy. This includes sample creation and prep, reagent prep, supply stocking, inventory maintenance and glassware cleaning. Position will also perform tasks as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in chemistry or related scientific discipline with 3-5 years of experience in an analytical chemistry lab. Lab experience in various instrumentation, wet chemistry, and physical analyses. Experience in applying statistical tools to evaaluation of data (LIMS). Good communication, documentation and time management skills.
