Position Details: Experian AutomotiveÂ has an opening for a highly motivated individual to work with data management and analysis in one of Experian's strongest growing business units. The Data Management Analyst/ Quality Assurance works closely with developers and project managers in the delivery of error-free data and information to clients. The ability to understand and analyze complex data is essential, as are strong communication and organization skills.This position will work extensively with Experian Automotive data, ensuring that the product meets the client expectations as well as Experian Data Quality standards.
This role is a critical component to the delivery of Experian Automotive data products to our clients.
Understand full life cycle of data processing, from acquisition to integration to extraction
Aggressively identify potential data quality issues
Understand business and product needs
Profile data; determine trends, patterns, inconsistencies; draw conclusions
Pinpoint trouble spots in data and processes
Work closely with cross-functional development teams to help establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation.
Work on a consultative basis for new data sources and enhancement initiatives to help ensure consistency and implementation of best practices
Prepare and analyze data presentations for both internal and external publication
Fulfill ad hoc data analysis requests; devise and maintain various data mining studies
Identify and implement improvements in QA processes as needed
Experience in SQL and ability to write SQL code as well as experience with SAS, Excel and other data management tools
3+ years of professional experience, including 2 years in data analysis and/or data quality review
Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of QA methodology and process improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels
Confident and energetic self-starter with good follow-through
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment; excellent time management and organization skills
