This Systems Management Specialist is a full time position in the Ft. Meade area requiring rotating shifts in a 24x7x365 environment. The Systems Management Specialist’s primary responsibility is to resolve incidents on the Customer Enterprise IT that are outside of normal scripted responses.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Systems Management Specialist will work in a 24x7x365 environment working on rotating shifts. The primary responsibility is to resolve incidents on the Customer Enterprise IT that are outside of normal scripted responses. The Systems Management Specialist will restore data services remotely using available tools. The Systems Management Specialist will implement and/or articulate corrective measures and document that information into knowledge articles. The Systems Management Specialist will author, review, provide feedback or revise knowledge articles for incidents.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent relevant work experience.
Additionally, the following training is highly desired:
· ITIL® v3 Foundations certification
· IAT Level II Certification (Security+)
Security Clearance Requirements
Top Secret FS/LS Polygraph required.
