Citibank North America''s Consumer Lending business provides secured and unsecured loans and lines of credit to meet the borrowing needs its retail banking customers experience across life stage. Core lending products include home equity loans and lines, personal loans and lines, and Checking Plus - a credit line linked to checking accounts to provide overdraft protection.

The lending business has an opportunity to grow loan outstandings and drive overall revenue growth for the bank. The business is seeking to add product marketing talent to shape product strategy and execution to deliver on its growth expectations. The Product Director, Checking Plus is responsible for optimizing the product value proposition and marketing strategy to drive product line revenue growth and improved banking client loyalty. He / She will directly manage or influence the product from an end-to-end perspective, covering product positioning and development, pricing, marketing & promotion, processing and servicing, credit policy and portfolio retention / utilization.

He /She will manage product distribution through the branch network, and partner with business development colleagues for product distribution through alternate channels such as the internet, Citi at Work, etc. Key responsibilities include: § Develop and execute an annual business plan. § Develop and lead implementation of marketing programs to grow the franchise through both acquisition and retention tactics. § Own the product P&L.

Manage profitability drivers including top line (e.g., pricing, fees, retention, etc) and expense side (e.g., origination, servicing, commission, etc) items to achieve profit improvement. § Continuously improve net acquisition performance within the primary branch sales distribution network. Customize the positioning, product design, pricing/fees, marketing message and fulfillment to optimize banker sales effectiveness, client experience and financial performance. § Support cross-functional and cross-business initiatives, providing product expertise or solutions on various business initiatives including channel management (Citi at Work, internet, telesales), operations, finance, legal / compliance.

§ Act on key NPS promoter and detractor drivers to improve client experience and NPS score. § Track ongoing product / program metrics in partnership with decision management to evaluate the performance against target and prioritize resource allocation. Maintain monthly sales and balance forecast with finance, identifying and managing to opportunities and risks. § Identify key customer needs and usage and attitudes as basis for refining product features, pricing and messaging.

Ensure the Bank''s products are differentiated and well positioned against national competitors. § Partner with unsecured processing team, providing monthly volume forecasts for capacity planning.
