The Installation Engineer (IE) is responsible for providing support, as required, to the Leadership and Project Teams of Fluor Offshore Solutions, in the area of offshore installation operations for fixed or floating facilities including topsides, jackets and floating structures. The FM will provide support to the Leadership and Project teams as required to plan, organize, control and execute all offshore installation activities necessary to support pre-qualifications, proposals and projects.
The IE has responsibility to remain current with offshore installation market conditions and trends, including client and competitor data, methodologies, vessels and installation techniques. The IE has responsibility to remain current with the status of projects, including but not limited to installation progress, schedule, resource needs, execution issues, etc. Has responsibility to ensure the consistent implementation and utilization of good offshore installation strategies, practices, and processes.
With respect to all offshore installation opportunities/projects, the IE shall participate in bid/no bid and proposal/estimate preparation and reviews, with focus on commercial and contracting strategies, installation execution issues, installation vessel market analysis, direct and indirect cost estimates, project schedules, and project risk issues. Particular focus areas include safety, schedule, quality and cost and the maintenance of Fluor's Core values, objectives and standards.
Basic Job Requirements: Minimum 10 years of relevant Offshore installation experience.
Will be required to provide input for the following activities: Pre-qualifications and Proposals for Offshore installation projects, Constructability reviews, Cost estimates, Project Schedules, Execution Strategies and Plan.

Have working knowledge of Planning and Scheduling; know from experience what schedule activity durations are reasonable and how work should be planned
Successfully managed fabrication operations and/or projects. Must have a safety first approach to project execution. Must possess knowledge of and experience in:

Offshore fabrication methodologies.
Offshore fabrication and yard operations.
Onshore pre-commissioning and commissioning work.
