Loyola University Health System and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine seeks an exceptional individual to direct the Division of Allergy/Immunology/Rheumatology. The ideal candidate should be a recognized leader with an established record of academic accomplishment in research, education and clinical care.

The Division Director provides leadership, direction and ongoing administration and management for all aspects of the Division including clinical service, teaching and research. The candidate is responsible for recruitment and retention of high quality faculty and is a visible and accessible mentor and role model to all division faculty, as well as planning and leading initiatives to facilitate clinical quality, academic and clinical productivity and enhancement of patient satisfaction. The division director works closely with the department leadership to develop and implement strategic plans and hospital administration to create well rounded and efficient clinical services.

A medical degree and board certification in specialty are required. A strong track of research accomplishment with extramural funding is preferred. This is a full-time faculty position. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be at the rank of Associate or full Professor.
