The Inside Media Account Rep reports directly into the Regional Publisher. This person is responsible for servicing and building business with new and existing customers in order to ensure the fulfillment of assigned quotas. This person must understand the customer's work processes and devise an appropriate solution intended to impact and aid McGraw-Hill Construction customers in meeting their sales and marketing objectives

Responsibilities:
Prospecting clients which includes direct sales calls, networking and telemarketing; develop strategic goals and call objectives to prospect and grow book of accounts.
Support the sales efforts of other Account Reps teamed w/this position through direct contact by phone and email.
Support existing customer base with ongoing advertising requirements.
Develop and strengthen relationships with our customers.
Service customers and prospects with quotes, sample products and marketing materials.
Travel to Trade Shows to Promote ENR.
Update Seibel database with regards to account status and forecasting.
Work on official proposals, bid notices and special projects for Regional Publisher.
Develop advertising packages including print and online as well as other publications in addition to ENR.
Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of competitive companies, products and services.

Required:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience

A minimum of 3 years experience in solutions-based consultative sales

Excellent verbal written communication skills to effectively present MHC services, provide required follow-up correspondence, service proposals, use plans and other forms of communication required to support and service the customers/prospects

Able to organize and manage a multi-state sales territory requiring some travel and continuing telephone contact with customers and prospects.

Proficiency in windows based applications and contact management software.

Preferred:
Individuals with experience in selling premium products enabling applications like CRM, Sale Force Automation, etc.

Working within the architectural, design and building products industry
