R/GA is looking for a Technical Team Lead for our front end development group. The role includes partnering and working regularly with client teams, and the candidate should enjoy working across groups within large organizations.
The ideal candidate will have a history of utilizing new and exciting web development technologies to find creative and ingenious solutions for websites, social apps and mobile apps. Expertise in front end development architectures and a thorough understanding of server-side technology and architecture will be needed in order to create proof of concepts, prototypes, and reference builds of new functionalities and behaviors.
An understanding of ecommerce platforms, Content Management Systems, database technologies and architectures, programming paradigms and methodologies, and an interest in new and upcoming technologies will be very useful in this role.
Required Expertise:
Mastery and deep knowledge of multiple technologies; Ability to lead development of multiple projects; Ability to communicate and interact directly with clients (either Marketing or IT); Ability to scope and estimate project work accurately; Ability to work closely across disciplines in R/GA. Ability to negotiate and resolve routine differences in opinion. Conversational marketing/creative literacy.
