Supervises merchandise handling process. Provides on-the-job training for and supervises the daily activities of all Brand Experience Associates. Maintains an organized stockroom. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports and ensures execution of all shipment receiving and processing procedures to floor-ready standards.
Partners with appropriate leader to direct shipment placement on salesfloor.
Ensures floor is replenished per company guidelines. Follows up on staff to ensure accuracy.
Performs audit and transfers of damaged and defective merchandise, completes re-tickets and charge sends according to Merchandise Handling Manual.
Oversees and executes markdowns in a timely and accurate manner. Audits markdowns to ensure accuracy.
Tracks productivity and ensures that the team is meeting the Merchandise Handling Manual standards for all Brand Experience tasks, including the In-Service Audit and
Provides feedback to leader regarding merchandise-handling concerns/opportunities.
Ensures all delivery information is recorded and accurately reported.
Models, encourages and demonstrates Service-Based Selling behaviors when on the salesfloor.
Recognizes customer cues and supports customers' service expectations.
Models and encourages a healthy work environment.
Communicates staffing requirements to the leadership team.
Communicates daily goals and priorities to support associates, redirects activities as necessary to achieve productivity standards.
Trains and coaches Brand Experience Associates to meet productivity standards.
Coordinates Brand Experience Associate break and shift change schedules to maximize productivity and meet federal and company requirements.
Communicates feedback to the leadership team regarding Brand Experience Associate performance.
Communicates any policy violations to the leadership team in a timely, confidential manner.
Upholds all company policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual, including the Field Employee Policy Guide and Code of Business Conduct.
Enforces all Loss Prevention policies, and communicates violations to the leadership team or the Code of Business Conduct Hotline.
Performs personal property checks and inspects trash.
Maintains all shipment-related paperwork to meet audit requirements.
Manages shipment supplies and fixtures and communicates needs to the leadership team.
Maintains company standards of neat, clean and organized stockroom, as provided in the Merchandise Handling Manual.
Ensures stockroom and stockroom activities meet Risk Management requirements.
Communicates employee accidents to the leadership team immediately.
Influences employees to support an operationally efficient and effective process driven environment.
Reports to Brand Experience Manager or Brand Experience Lead or GM.
Interfaces with DM and RD. Collaborates effectively across teams and Work Centers.

Minimum educational level:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Six months of Gap Inc. experience preferred.
Previous retail experience preferred.
Experience supervising teams preferred.
Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs.
Ability to maneuver around the store and stockroom.
Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings, to meet the needs of the business.
