Director, Publisher Sales

Job Description:
Evangelizing the OpenX Enterprise, LiftDNA & Market publisher solution to your assigned channel and geography

Continuously prospecting for new business using your existing publisher network of relationships and creating new relationships

Lead sales efforts through all aspects of the sales cycle including relationship initiation, negotiation, and closing

Ideal candidate will have worked at an ad technology company or one that sells technology to publishers (DoubleClick), an ad technology firm (Operative, Pubmatic, Rubicon, Yieldex) , or publisher sales at an Ad Network or AdExchange (Specific, Adconion, TMP/Epic, Tribal Fusion, Valueclick, Dotomi, Rocketfuel, Google AdEx, Yahoo! RMX).

Strong knowledge & familiarity with Publisher revenue models, ad serving, ad exchanges, and online ad technologies focused on publisher

Strong set of existing relationships with emerging publishers, as well as Comscore 1000 publishers at the decision making level

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong business judgment; professional distinction in thought leadership and innovation.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, developing sales strategy and managing team (player/coach)

Strong written, presenting & oral communication skills

Ability to learn, take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision

High energy, self motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced start up environment

10 years in a sales or business development role in the online industry, 5+ as a Director/VP with a minimum of 15 overall years work experience (advanced degree years will count towards total)

BA/BS degree required
