Software Verification Intern
Job Description: Internship for cutting-edge Hand-held & Smartphone technology development driving Intel Mobile Communications (IMC) growth in an exciting new market segment. A successful candidate will use HW, SW skills to test and debug SW for mobile device features, and for developing SW for automated testing and data reporting. Candidate will develop SW and perform device testing as part of verification campaigns working within existing IMC SW tool suites and industry-standard mobile platform operating systems. Ability to work in a dynamic team environment as a team player and good communication skills. This opening is for a six month internship beginning in September 2012.
Candidates should currently be enrolled in an accredited school/university as an undergraduate student working towards completion of a Bachelors degree majoring in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science. This is a six-month internship for Fall of 2012, candidate must be able to commit to six months.
Degree fields related to software are highly desired.
- Minimum 2 years college experience
- Proficiency in debug and problem solving
- Programming knowledge (C/C++, Perl, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience using Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of SW validation tools and processes
- Experience with mobile devices and associated debug tools
- Experience with source control and bug tracking systems
