Senior Business Support Role

We are seeking a Senior Administration Assistant to provide a high level of service and administrative support to the Head of Funds Client Services and Investment Management Sales/Client Consultants. The successful applicant will also be interfacing with other parts of the business, advisors, clients and external bodies to answer queries and to provide exceptional customer service.
This role would suit someone who loves to work in a team environment, to work as the right hand to a leader, providing one on one support to enable the leader to be effective in their role.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Assist in the co-ordination of quarterly and monthly investment reporting
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and Word processing of general documents
Knowledge coordinator of the intranet site for investments
Scheduling functions and catering
Managing emails, phone calls and responding to queries
Managing travel arrangements (flights and accommodation) for the whole team
Providing assistance and participating in the Investment Management and wider Melbourne investment team
Attending team meetings, taking minutes and following up of relevant action items
Reconciliation of staff credit card expenses
Filing, photocopying, binding, faxing, opening mail and other generalist secretarial duties
Liaison with many key stakeholders within Mercer and in the broader community
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Proven record within a similar Senior Admin Assistant/PA position
Ability to manage a number of tasks and priorities to meet required deadlines
Excellent service ethic in providing a high level of support and customer service
Strong interpersonal skills including negotiation and influence skills
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Sharepoint 2010 software
Flexible when occasional projects require extra resources
Good team player who will enjoy working with a positive highly motivated team of professionals
