HPC Fabric Management GUI Software Engineer
The Intel Fabric Management Software development team is looking for a GUI software development engineer to work in our King of Prussia design center to facilitate the delivery of the next generation Intel Fabric management products for High Performance Computing (HPC). HPC is being used today to help solve some of the world's most challenging scientific needs, including fusion energy, bio-medical research, physics, as well as traditional engineering such as aeronautic and automotive engineering.
The bulk of the work will be focused around the Fabric Management GUI needs of large scale HPC and datacenter Fabrics. This includes fabric topology display, fabric performance and error displays, fabric configuration and other details of fabric operation. Given the sizes of HPC fabrics and the performance requirements, there are many unique challenges to solve.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experience, and:
- 4+ years experience in Java coding of GUI applications and applets
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with InfiniBand or another HPC interconnect
- Experience with HTML and XML
- Experience with network management GUIs
- Familiarity with network protocols and APIs.
