Minimum Skills/Requirements

All levels: Degree required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree as outlined below.

Level V:
•Degree plus 5+ years experience in IT, technical support, clinical or business experience. OR
•In lieu of degree, 8 years experience in IT, technical support, clinical or business experience. OR
•In lieu of degree, 3+ years of hands-on EPIC experience with appropriate EPIC training in multiple areas and multiple certifications.

All levels require: Proficient in the analysis of task requirements, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the development and support of Epic applications. Communicate with internal and external installation and support teams, reviewing software upgrades, software testing analysis, analyzing business operations and workflows, and working with vendor and end users to tailor systems to organizational needs.

Candidates with Epic Certifications are preferred.

Primary Job Functions

Responsible for the deployment of the Epic Reporting program. This program will define reporting protocols, procedures, and processes. This position will work closely with the PHS Enterprise Business Units to understand and deliver on their reporting needs. With some or little supervision, maintain service and support of “in production” systems.

• With some or little supervision, assist in system implementation tasks as defined by the supervisor.
• Performs system business and/or technical analytical tasks as defined by the supervisor.
