To acquire, develop and enhance consumer segments to increase loyalty and increased visitation to adidas retail chain.
Manage customer database (via 3rd party vendor) to identify key consumer segments and opportunities, and develop communication strategies to grow segment, grow sales, and increase loyalty of segment.
Grow and develop database of qualified registrants through online, in-store and partnership opportunities
Partner with marketing managers to support campaigns and identify communication opportunities. Create communication calendar to drive strategic messaging and maximize all touch points to consumer in a clear, cohesive manner.
Develop opportunities in digital/social space, performing testing to qualify opportunities for growth
Manage relationship with database vendor – conference calls, status updates, invoicing, etc.
Assist with ad hoc data reporting and analysis needs
Perform ROI and KPI reporting against key segments and initiatives
Source and analyze national and international market information on consumers, customers and competitors to determine current trends, opportunities, and competitive strengths and weaknesses for the brand and industry competitors
Act as department point of contact for internal clients for support and fulfillment of market share and competitive information needs
Work with brand and global research teams to ensure retail involvement wherever possible in research projects
Extrapolate and analyze retail relevant data from brand and global research
Organize data in a logical manner and prepare reports and graphic illustrations to clearly communicate findings to sr. marketing managers and other internal clients
Create, maintain and communicate project plans for project initiatives
Facilitate and lead the completion of key defined and ad-hoc projects
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Advanced MS Office skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytic skills and strategic thinking.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization including in Sr. Management meetings, lead training and other broad communication activities.
Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives.
Ability to create, plan and deliver effective presentations on complex topics to diverse audiences.
Ability to effectively lead discussions in small and large groups.
Ability to influence others to build consensus with internal and external partners.
Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and with limited guidance, resulting in successful, on-time completion.
Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with strong planning and organizational skills
4 year college or university degree Business, Marketing, Market Research, or Economics and a minimum of three years related work experience. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted.
A minimum of one year experience working with marketing communications
