The Facilities Engineering positions at CM are ideally suited to engineers who are new to the natural gas industry and are seeking a rapidly growing independent environment where he/she will play a key role in the company's growth. Assist with the identification of business opportunities to grow the system or take advantage of market irregularities.
Provide project justification and engineering.
Assist in project execution, construction and commissioning.
Work with operations, engineering, and construction teams to assist in pipeline route development, pipe forecasting, pipeline construction, and facilities operations.
Development and implementation of work programs to optimize existing plant/surface facilities and enhance production.
Provide engineering support to prospective property acquisitions and integration of acquired facilities / pipelines into the company.
Working closely with Production Control Group, Production Superintendents, and field personnel to fully understand the company's production growth and maximize overall value for the company.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with Chesapeake's Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.

Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts.
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications. Able to learn company specific applications.
Any associate who drives a company or personal vehicle for Company business must possess a valid driver licenses and follow all guidelines that are outlined in the Company's Fleet Policy.
Exposure to midstream operations-gathering systems, pipelines, processing and compression facility.
Solid understanding of engineering concepts as they relate to natural gas production, hydraulics, compression.
General understanding of basic business development concepts.
Leadership ability, entrepreneurial drive and vision.
Excellent presentation and communication skills with all levels within the company.
Ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment emphasizing technology and individual responsibility.
B.S. degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
General experience/exposure in oil and/or gas industry, survey, permitting, pipeline construction a plus.
