Requirements and Competencies
Technical schooling in electrical, instrumentation or mechanical maintenance
A minimum of 5 years experience in boiler & steam plant operations, and large scale ammonia refrigeration systems
Strong maintenance skills in mechanical or electrical/instrumentation
Applicant must have a positive work attitude and be self-motivated
The position involves shift work, working weekends, and working in a quality, food-processing environment
Operate Brewery Utilities systems including: steam, CO2 collection, ammonia/freon refrigeration & dehumidification, compressed air and water
Document all activities that occur during shift of responsibility
Perform routine and emergency maintenance (major and minor) of Utilities systems in a multi-craft environment which include PLC, instrumentation, mechanical, and equipment repair
Perform boiler water and cooling tower water chemical treatment
Responsible for lubrication, housekeeping & sanitation
