Regional Channel Manager:
Generates qualified new business opportunities for RS sales organization through focused wholesaling activities. Identifies and manages regional/local relationships with partner sales and branch management, top 401(k) producers, and regional product specialists. Will manage specific campaigns and appropriate activities to engage top producers at alliance firms to sell RS products. Conducts regional meetings and training sessions to generate interest among financial advisors at targeted alliance firms.
Generates qualified new business opportunities for RS sales organization. Will manage specific campaigns and appropriate activities to engage top producers at alliance firms to sell RS products. Conducts regional meetings and training sessions to generate interest among all financial advisors at targeted alliance firms. Prepare a business plan to identify how the Region/territory will achieve the assigned sales goals. Prepare a Monthly Sales Flash Report following the designated format established by Group Employer Services Sales. Establish a Prospective Business Report or Master Prospect List accurately forecasting accounts that will close.
Work closely with other functional areas to ensure the smooth implementation of sales. Review lead generating activities by region, and determine region?s results. Feedback, results and suggestions to management. " Bring to the attention of Marketing the needs of the marketplace. " Input to appropriate Division operations management on what issues need to be addressed, and recommend solutions. Participates in prospect presentations as needed. Works at maintaining both product and professional skills by participating in training sessions within ADP and through their own independent efforts. Maintains accurate and up to date records by way of the current Sales Information System.
Position requires 80% travel.
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
At least 5 years sales and/or wholesaling experience in the DC/Qualified Plan industry. Experience in wholesaling to major wire houses (i.e. UBS, Morgan Stanley, etc) Outstanding leadership skills, professionalism and business planning capability.
FINRA Series 6 and 63. Strong organization, planning, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Possess strong presentation and selling skills with a history of achieving quotas and deadlines. BS in Business Administration or equivalent education and relevant experience.
