TEAM MISSIONTo provide legal counsel and services to the executive leadership team. Responsible for all aspects of contracts, leases, permits and licenses, litigation management, intellectual property protection, day-to-day legal matters, and supervision of internal and external providers of legal services.KEY RESULT AREAS & OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES1. Corporate• Prepare drafts of corporate organizational documents for parent and subsidiaries• Maintain corporate minute books and assist with corporate governance• Prepare and file federal and state reports and filings2. Litigation• Prepare litigation and discovery documents• Oversee scheduling and coordination of litigation logistics3. Leases & Contracts• Prepare lease and contract abstracts• Maintain lease and contract database• Review and prepare initial comments on standard terms to lease4. Permits & Licenses• Track permit and license expirations; process applications and renewals• Maintain permits and licenses database• Prepare and maintain liquor licenses5. Intellectual Property• Maintain trademark, copyright and domain name portfolio• Assist with trademark applications and renewalsJOB SCOPE• Reports to the Chief Legal Officer• Some travel may be required
