Position Summary:
Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Projected End Date: 08/01/2013 (UNMTemps assignments may end with little or no advance notice) Parking Arrangements: Parking arrangements will be the responsibility of the employee This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible assignment through UNMTemps. UNMTemps is responsible for supplying temporary employees to departments and campuses throughout the University. Qualified applicants are placed into temporary assignments when positions become vacant, when regular employees are absent, during peak work periods, and for special events. The University of New Mexico Information Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Analyst 1 assigned to the Enterprise Support group within the Customer Support Services unit. This position will be responsible for discussing voice and data requirements with small to medium size departments and making recommendations based on the current available services provided by IT. Related duties include processing service requests in Help.UNM, writing orders in the Pinnacle telemanagement system, preparing project worksheets, estimates, floor plans and other special documentation as required by the project, ordering services from other vendors and completing billing on projects. This position requires attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; no previous work experience required. OR Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. OR High school diploma or GED; at least 4 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. A broad knowledge of Voice and Data services 2. Familiarity with the service offerings of UNM IT 3. Experience with Pinnacle telemanagement software 4. Experience with Cherwell service management tools (Help.UNM) 5. Experience coordinating across different teams to deliver services to customers.
