You will participate in the development and improvement of synthesis and physical design methodology, scripting, and automation of design environment, etc. • The role will include bring up, debug and maintenance of new tools and flows on advanced process nodes.• You will assist in design closure, physical integration and physical design verification checks to ensure quality Apple designs.• Additional responsibilities include coordinating with the design team and other functional groups to close different aspects of timing, power, and physical design verification. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best in class methodologies, tools and flows resulting in vastly improved performance, area and power using advanced vendor, as well as in-house CAD tools. This could include physical design as well as timing and power optimizations on advanced blocks for test chips, production chip or mixed signal related chips.
