New York-based GFT AI specializes in the alternative investment space, with clients including leading investment banks, hedge funds, prime brokerages and fund administrators. GFT AI is a tight-knit team of 20 financial professionals with deep industry experience.
Responsibilities
Consultants work with clients to design and implement technical solutions to complex business problems in the front, middle and back office. Projects vary, but can include custom software development, implementation of industry-leading portfolio accounting software, data integration, and design and deployment of custom reporting solutions. Consultants may work with team members located across the US, Europe, and Brazil.
Successful candidates will be outstanding problem solvers, quick learners, and articulate communicators. Although previous financial or technical experience is valuable, GFT primarily seeks self-directed, driven individuals.
Working with GFT’s experienced financial professionals, consultants gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and topics in the financial industry. Base annual salary ranges from $65,000-$75,000 with performance based quarterly bonuses of up to $7,500+ ($20,000 - $30,000+ annually) in the first year.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar from a selective, highly ranked university program.
Experience programming in an object-oriented language.
Recent graduate or up to three years of experience in consulting or software development.
Desire to learn about financial securities, trading, and operations.
