Production Document Coordinator

Background
¨ Works under general supervision of the Operations Manager in a c-GMP regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards.
¨ Applies basic technical skills and knowledge of technical procedures, techniques, tools, material and equipment, and industry practices and standards to identify and prioritize production requirements and to coordinate flow of materials and products to meet production schedules for high customer satisfaction.

Tasks
¨ Develop solutions to a variety of problems that are basic in scope; applies experience and limited judgment working within established policies and procedures relative to scheduling and coordinating flow of material and work within and between departments

¨ Compile and maintain manual and computerized records (such as batch records, production schedules, material inventory, in-process production reports, status and location of materials); ensure accurate data capture from production processes, applications/prokects and all key contacts
¨ Record and manage deviations within documentation

Specifications
¨ B.S. in Business, MIS, Supply Chain or related field preferred. Degree may be substituted for three (3) years of experience as described below.

¨ Three (3) years of progressively more responsible work experience and/or on-the-job training that provided knowledge of generally accepted principles, theories and practices used in production management.

¨ Knowledge of:
o Mathematics and English comprehension (Advanced level)
o Raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods (Basic level)

o Safety, health and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
o MS Office software package (Advanced level)

¨ Skill in:
o Organization and documentation practices
o Management of material resources

¨ Ability to:
o Work in a plant environment

o Communicate effectively, orally and in writing

o Follow established policies and proceduress
o Compile data and verify documents
o Multi-task with strong attention to detail
o Adopt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs
o Pass pre-employment and monthly random drug screens
