Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of
Marketing and Engagement, this position is responsible
for the strategic development, implementation and
tracking of marketing initiatives designed to enhance,
promote, preserve and strengthen the brand image and
sales of Gilsbar products and services.
The Online/Digital Marketing Specialist will work
closely with the Manager of Marketing and Engagement in
developing and executing: online and digital strategies,
including social media, online lead generation, internet
advertising, reputational management, website
management, PPC and SEO initiatives, managing digital
assets as well as monitoring and managing Gilsbar’s
brand reputation.
The Online/Digital Marketing Specialist will provide
support to the Manager of Marketing and Engagement with
public affairs activities, including reputational
management and positioning Gilsbar as an industry
thought leader.

Individual will possess strong writing, high-level
thinking and analytical skills. Must have experience
working with a team on creative programs from conception
through execution. Excellent organizational and time
management skills with the ability to manage multiple
projects, shifting priorities and completing demands.
Must be able to work outside corporate office, but
effectively work within corporate structure and
participate as a team member. Needs good interpersonal
skills to work effectively with levels of employees and
management. Excellent verbal and written communications
skills. Must have experience writing Strategic Marketing
plans. Strong self-motivation and self-direction.
Exhibits creativity and media knowledge.
Must have excellent proof-reading skills. Mastery of
Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
required. Mastery of QuarkXpress, InDesign, Photoshop
and Adobe Illustrator not required but beneficial. Must
be able to navigate the Internet efficiently and learn
new applications including, but not limited to online
analytical tools.
A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Marketing, or
Business Administration or equivalent experience is
required. 2-5 yrs. marketing experience required.
Experience in Healthcare/insurance marketing a plus but
not required.
