You will be part of a Product team that is working on mobile, desktop and web based solutions and will report directly to the Head of Product. About You: You have a passion for UX. You cringe when you use software that could use your help.
You are very organized and detail oriented. You understand the difference between Visual Design and UX. You are comfortable wireframing. And iterating.
And wireframing. And iterating. You are comfortable explaining the *why* behind a UX decision. You are comfortable pitching and defending your UX decisions to designers, developers, product owners and executives.
We use Jenkins for continuous deployment and push code to production several times daily. Our back-end stack is comprised of Big Data technologies like MongoDB, HBase, Hadoop, Redis, RabbitMQ, Storm. We ’ve got some MySQL for good measure. We primarily use AWS - specifically ELB, EC2, SQS, MTurk, CloudFront, Route53 and EMR.
Your Gear: It ’s up to you. You pick your rig. Most of our folks use Macs. Some use Linux.
Experience leading group design discussions and documenting the results Excellent written and oral communication skills.
