CO-OP Engineer (HW)

We are seeking an engineering student to fill a year-round CO-OP position for a digital engineering group to assist with technical tasks associated with Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This Engineering CO-OP position will provide an opportunity for an Electrical/Computer engineering student who is currently pursuing an engineering degree to get hands-on experience working with engineers in a cutting edge communications hardware/software environment. The CO-OP engineer will be called upon to support a variety of hardware and/or software engineering activities in a fast paced engineering environment. In this role you may be assigned to a variety of engineering tasks throughout the Engineering department. Candidates should have a basic knowledge and understanding of electronic test equipment and its application in testing of analog and digital product.

The CO-OP will be assigned to support a development lab manager and assist in maintaining a state of the art networking and digital lab. The CO-OP engineer will have various opportunities to support many engineering teams. The CO-OP will have a mentor to assist in completing tasks and answer questions. Tasks will be tailored to the CO-OP's experience level, interests, and capabilities. Candidates must be self motivated and have good organizational and interpersonal skills.


The CO-OP engineer is required to work a minimum of 20 hours a week to maintain benefits. CO-OP positions run from hire date till graduation depending on performance and/or job availability.

Due to the nature of our work this position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

This position requires the successful candidate to be a Sophomore/Junior level student currently enrolled in classes leading to a degree in an applicable engineering discipline.

Electrical Engineering students are desired and must be currently enrolled in their respective programs.
