      Description

      Engility has immediate openings for a fantastic growing program. The program will include Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), user interface, communications, database and security software development. This development program follows an agile development life cycle to rapidly deliver solutions and employs scrum teams equipped with current state of the art technologies, processes and development environments.
          10+ years as an Architect or Technical Lead in a Service Oriented Architecture solution or as technical lead or architect with some or all of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC; HTML, JavaScript, CSS; XML, XSD, XSLT, Web Service Technologies including SOAP and WSDL Experience with Agile with Scrum software development methodologies are highly desired Strong software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support. Excellent written and verbal, communication time management, interpersonal and team participation. Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Experience analyzing existing systems environment to determine applicability of fit with new business initiatives. Ability to analyze high-level requirements and translate these to overall system-level design to be used for architectural prescription, cost/benefit analysis, and concept development Experience with technologies at multiple levels of the architecture, including some or all of the following: user interface, applications, database, security and/or network Proven capability to identify, define, and communicate design tradeoffs using a structured, detail oriented approach Ability to develop prototype applications in support of architectural proof using a variety of technologies as dictated by architectural prescription Qualifications Degree Requirements: Bachelors 10+ years as an Architect or Technical Lead in a Service Oriented Architecture solution or as technical lead or architect with some or all of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC; HTML, JavaScript, CSS; XML, XSD, XSLT, Web Service Technologies including SOAP and WSDL Preferred: Web service design, testing and implementation Java, Spring, J2EE, BEA Web Logic Tuxedo, Oracle 11g, J2EE - EJB, JMS, JCA, JTA, JDBC, Persistence/Hibernate, HTTP/SOAP, XSD, JAXB, and XSLT WebLogic - JMS, EJB, and Web Services Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards and ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions during architectural meetings. SAML Security Protocol Applicants selected for this position will require an interim DoD Secret clearance at a minimum and background screening. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirement for access to classified information.
