-Medical Office experience a must! Please do not apply if you do not have medical experience. -Coordinate a medical front desk in electronic health records (EHR) to include scheduling, insurance records, and medical records. -Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced medical office with a multi-line phone system. -Check in patients, to include insurance verification, pharmacy verification, and collecting copayments. -Assist patients with appointment scheduling. -Process referrals for patients. Knowledge of insurance information required. -Assist providers in communicating with referring physicians. -Become efficient in Tiger and Allscripts EHR -Detail-oriented and resourceful in completing projects; ablility to multi-task effectively. -Work as a team with entire medical staff. -Sympathetic and understanding the challenges of our special patients.
