The US Row Crops IT (USIT) team works in the US organization partnering across business functions to help to deliver growth, agility and efficiency in the U.S. The accepted candidate will join the USIT organization to develop new business capabilities that may span across multiple organizations including sales, marketing, supply chain, product development and technology development.

The Engagement Lead is responsible for creating strategic alliances with our different business units. The Engagement Lead will predict, define and develop high-level business scenarios that are projected in the 1-2 year timeframe and propose software solutions to implement those scenarios.

The candidate must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully partner with business functions and teams to understand the opportunities and identify systems solutions. In addition, the candidate must successfully interact with USIT Business Analysts and Solution Architects to define and develop these solutions. As proposals become projects, the Engagement Lead will ensure a smooth transition to a project manager for detailed project delivery while still maintaining overall project accountability. The Engagement Lead will work collaboratively with other business functions or teams, managing multiple relationships and engagements across multiple projects. The Engagement Lead will have people management and budget responsibilities. Required skills/experience:

B.S. in Business, MIS, Computer Science or related field and/or comparable work experience

Candidate should have strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills as well as problem solving skills

Strategic planning and facilitation of design workshops

The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to foster and maintain relationships with new and existing IT and business clients at all levels of the organization

The candidate must have the ability to listen and translate business needs into multiple solution possibilities via written proposals and estimates

Candidate will need to have demonstrated success leading people (direct and matrix) to deliver results

Desired skills/experience:
An MBA and/or experience with the agriculture industry

Strong working knowledge of developing business solutions in a Fortune 500 business
