The UX Researcher is responsible for planning, executing, and communicating results of user-centered research methods. You will design, schedule and conduct user interviews and usability tests, research design patterns, make user interface design recommendations, and communicate findings to a broad audience. You will collaborate with designers, user experience architects, product owners, and usage metrics analysts during conceptual and tactical user interface design stages of mission-critical projects.
Work with designers, product owners, and engineers to prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Plan and conduct a variety of experience research, including user interviews, usability tests (both in person and remote), ethnographic studies, competitive analyses, and surveys
Design and execute experience research for web and mobile sites and apps
Summarize and publish research findings
Develop a user experience dashboard to track user experience metrics over time
Work with other researchers throughout the company to plan, conduct, and analyze customer studies
Collaborate with metrics analysts to frame hypotheses, conduct A/B tests, and report results
Collaborate with user experience designers to solve complex problems
Communicate user experience research to the entire company
Contribute great ideas
Coordinate activities of outside research vendors as needed

Experience analyzing web usage metrics and business intelligence data and combining with usability data to make recommendations
Understanding of international usability
Experience with usability testing of mobile/tablet applications and sites

Is a detail-oriented self starter who works well in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Ability to work in collaborative project teams of designers, developers, and product owners
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or equivalent preferred
Has 3-7 years of experience conducting user experience research to inform the design of digital products and services
Experience with usability Ttesting tools such as TechSmith, Morae or Silverback
Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure or Balsamiq
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Omnigraffle to produce design communication artifacts including persona documents, wireframes, user experience flow diagrams
