Cultivate relationships and manage activities to communicate full scope of Ameresco solutions, generate business opportunities, achieve sales objectives, volume, market share, and provide on-time, cost-effective delivery of services to meet customer goals.
Monitor account plan progress, including market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Serve as the primary point of customer contact, lead presentations, and provide regular updates.
Coordinate visits to customer project sites to investigate existing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and document energy performance, including utility and facility infrastructure data and materials.
Identify opportunities for conservation, efficiency, or renewable technology and participate in the preparation of energy savings calculations and technical engineering assessment.
Assist Project Team with engineering design and development, construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with Project Engineers to prepare conceptual and detailed design and bid documents, cost estimates, drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate with vendors and installation contractors for feasibility and pricing verification of proposed project modifications.
Provide technical guidance throughout development, construction, project commissioning, and operations, including proposals, reports, cost estimates, and presentations.
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety, standards, practices, codes.
Assure successful project implementation that meets or exceeds company objectives, financial parameters, and technical needs required to deliver customer energy cost savings.
Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships.
Perform other duties as required.
College degree with minimum 7 years’ mechanical design/ build, mechanical contracting, energy efficiency and/or renewable technology project sales, development, implementation work experience focusing on large scale asset development opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and quantify energy savings and implement complex projects involving chiller and boiler plants, motors, VSDs, HVAC retrofit, renewable technology, combined heat and power, distributed generation.
Financial planning/ budget experience with demonstrated ability to develop a business case.
Knowledge of measurement and verification, project cost estimating and accounting desired.
Professional registration or educational progress toward PE, CEM, LEED.
Excellent verbal, written, and computer communication and technical presentation skills.
Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
Travel may be required.
