Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:
This Project Manager will be part of our fast growing Medicaid team. We are out growing our space do to all the new business. This position provides leadership to ensure Operational Excellence in the launch and tracking of Operations projects, while delivering the desired results within the agreed upon time frame and budget. This position manages moderate to complex projects. This position may be responsible for interfacing and communicating directly with Senior Managers from all different areas of the company. This position is not responsible for direct employees but may occasionally oversee contractors or junior members of the team. This position may be responsible for coordinating vendor work efforts related to a project. This position coordinates the efforts of a cross unit/cross company teams that can include Adjudication, Client Data, IT/TI, Finance, and other corporate organizations. This position develops and manages to a project plan and timeline that covers estimates, requirements, design, construction, test, deployment and benefit tracking. This position will own problem analysis, solution validation, risk management, issue resolution/escalation, financial and change control management, organizational change management, and stakeholder engagement processes. This position will adhere to the Operations Project Delivery Methodology, Project Management professional practices and standard tools and will contribute to practice development in enhancing the standard tool kit. This position may assist a Department or Integrated Portfolio Manager with benefits/value analysis, yearly planning cycle support, portfolio level reporting, or supporting projects through the funding governance structure. This position may generate/ maintain/support the standard tools and processes used by project managers. Required Qualifications:
6+ years in a related position managing projects. Speak, read, write English Effective verbal and written communicator Good analytical thinking skills Proficient PC skills utilizing MS Office and web-based applications required Demonstrated ability to lead/drive teams that are cross-functional Good problem analysis and solution development Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of State Medicaid Experience working with claims data PMP certification Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required; (an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute). Business Overview:
