Responsible for inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Department admissions. Conducts patient interviews, completes admitting forms, assigns inpatient rooms, discharges patients and performs cashiering functions. Answers patient inquiries and helps resolve patient problems and/or issues. May act as hospital receptionist and PBX operator. Performs other duties as assigned.
