The Design Coordinator/Assistant to VP of Design, Legacy and VP of Design, Columbia, is responsible for supporting the VP’s, as well as coordinating photo shoots, invoice processing and other Design administration duties.
The Design Coordinator position includes but is not limited to the following:
Assisting and supporting the VP’s with scheduling, travel, screening calls, expense reports, and other administrative duties.
Processing documents necessary for photo shoots, including artwork agreements, invoices, vendor setups, etc.
Working with Design Director and Art Directors to prepare shoots for archiving.
Draft and issue artwork contracts.
Retrieve artwork for Labels/Clients, upon request.
Work with Art Directors to create and archive photo shoot.
Research artwork agreements for various departments including our own.
Assist and trouble shoot various issues.
Comp prints, tile prints, handle file requests and coordinate scans with outside vendors, including RRD.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Creative Suite, preferred
Able to communicate effectively
A team player, but can take initiative and see through projects independently
