System Security Intern
In this position you will work as a member of the Security Research Lab (SRL). The mission of SRL is to drive industry-leading research on cryptography, confidentiality, integrity, and anti-malware solutions to deliver higher robustness and assurance on Intel platforms. You will work on analyzing services infrastructure & applications, identify security sensitive aspects, and build prototypes (using platform security features) that raise trustworthiness of these applications.
Communication: The candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills. In particular he/she should be self-motivated, show initiative, and drive closure of technical issues. He/she should be able to present complex issues with clarity to drive decisions
Minimum skills and experience:
PhD student (preferred) or MS student (with relevant research experience)
Candidate should have 1+ years of work or educational experience in the following:
-The candidate should possess technical breadth in the areas of OS and systems architecture.
ossess in-depth knowledge of secure computer-systems engineering.
-Familiarity with cryptographic protocols and access control models is required.
Preferred skills and experience:
Platform-HW design and Secure OS experience is a plus.
