Provide support to library patrons. Answer questions and assist with computer and printer/copier related questions and problems. Check materials in and out using computer. Complete general circulation tasks. Process library materials (labeling, mending, etc.)
Straighten up the library, items on the shelves, chairs, and computers. Maintain accuracy in shelf order and library processes. Special projects and miscellaneous jobs as required.
(May use work time for studying at the library circulation desk when library is quiet; must attend to library patrons when support is needed).

Skills: Experience using Microsoft Office, computers and copiers/printers.
Required to understand Dewey Decimal system in order to locate library materials in online catalog and on the shelf.
Must have exceptional customer service skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to read/comprehend written materials required. Aptitude for computer and typing skills helpful. Must have a positive attitude. Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
Hours flexible based on staffing needs. May involve day, evening and weekend hours.
Selected candidates will need to have a credit/financial credit check completed before hire.
