The Supplies Clerk I is responsible for manual and clerical work in the receipt, stocking, minor maintenance and repair, and issuance of various supplies, materials, records, and equipment of a general or specialized nature. Some positions receive direction from a Supplies Clerk II, and some positions may be in charge of a small supply room serving the needs of a specialized area.
Currently a vacancy exists in the Fire Department. Responsibilities include checking in-coming deliveries, stocking shelves, conducting physical inventory, managing Emergency Medical Supplies delivery truck inventory, inputting inventory information into a computer, and maintaining storerooms, warehouses and yards.
This eligible list may be used by any department for any current or future vacancies over the life of the eligible list.

$13.46 (minimum) - $19.71 (maximum) hourly / $27,997 - $39,541 annually.
of one (1) year experience in warehousing, storekeeping, or tool room maintenance,

Some positions in this classification require the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess an appropriate valid Arizona driver's license, possess personal insurance coverage and have an acceptable driving record.
Working irregular hours, second and/or third shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings may be required.
Moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds may be required.
All positions in the Aviation Department require individuals to pass a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background check prior to hire and a TSA Security Threat Assessment screening.
Positions in the Water Services Department require possession of a Class A Commercial Driver's License Instructional Permit at the time of hire and a Class A Commercial Driver's License within 12 months in the job classification.
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered.
