The Academic Resources Manager, positioned in Xavier University's Student Academic Success Office (SASO), will supervise 5 resource centers (Math, Writing, Reading, Biology, and Chemistry) and resource center personnel, lead and plan marketing and events for all centers, lead assessment strategies for all centers, and lead an off-campus outreach system. The Academic Resources Manager will also serve as an advisor for Deciding Majors and Students on Strict Probation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Reports to Assistant Dean, SASO
 Collaborate with SASO Assistant Dean to develop tutoring centers' operational rules and procedures
 Collaborate with SASO Assistant Dean to ensure learning outcomes set by Faculty Liaisons are implemented and met
 Manage day-to-day business operations of tutoring centers
 Supervise tutoring lab managers and staff with professional development needs
 Advise Deciding Majors and Students on Strict Probation
 Prepare PAFS for resource centers' professional staff
 Assist with hiring and recruitment of tutoring and resource centers' staff and tutors
 Manage and monitor tutoring center budget
 Collaborate with resource center coordinators to create tutoring and resource center assessment plans
 Work with SASO team to design and implement a campus-wide tutor campaign to increase student participation
 Assist with promotion, events, and advertisement
 Meet weekly with resource center coordinators
 Create, gather and report data and documentation for SASO and the university relations to the functionalities and success of the tutorial labs
 Communicate any new guidelines, deadlines, or concerns effectively with all lab managers
 Order all supplies needed for tutoring and resource centers
 Assist with the development and implementation of an off-campus outreach system that would support high school students' academic development
 Assist in the planning and implementation of Lagniappe Weekend
 Perform related duties as assigned by Assistant Dean

Minimum Qualifications:
 Must have a Masters Degree
 Must have 3 to 5 years' experience in higher education
 Must have 3 to 5 years' experience developing and implementing academic programs
 Must have 3 to 5 years' in a leadership position
 Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment
 Excellent oral and written communication skills
 Excellent organizational skills
