Band G: $68,338 - $97,951
A Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent plus 8 years of related experience are required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Must hold a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred). Must also be able to pass Operator Qualification tests related to job. The selected candidate must be knowledgeable of the gas distribution system and production plant operation. Demonstrated leadership including the ability to effectively provide work direction to assigned personnel and customer service skills are required. The ability to lead and develop business relationships in a positive work environment is also required. Must be computer literate. Candidate must be willing to travel and work longer hours when necessary. Having a working knowledge of the Company-Union contract is preferred.
Plans, prepares, schedules and coordinates daily work assignments related to the construction, operations and maintenance of the distribution systems and production facilities, including job pre-check, supervision and monitoring of work progress. Reviews completed work assignments. Investigates job sites prior to crew assignment to determine crew sizing, special job requirements and job readiness, and verifies material availability. Assigns appropriate manpower, vehicles, and specialized tools and equipment to efficiently and cost effectively meet work requirements.
Prepares documentation for the generation of work orders, and prepares work orders.
Implements approved employee safety programs and monitors employee and contractor work practices to assure compliance with Company and OSHA safety standards, and DOT compliance.
Plans, schedules and supervises the daily work assignments of assigned clerical and field technician staff.
Investigates and reports on customer damage claims and equipment failures. Performs Supervisor On-Call duties as required, including supervising field personnel engaged in emergency activities.
