Duties and Responsibilities:
Loyola University Chicago's (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in organic chemistry, beginning in the fall of 2012, pending approval of funding. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an internationally competitive, externally funded research program and participate in undergraduate- and graduate-level teaching.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants from all areas of organic chemistry will be considered. However, preference will be given to candidates whose research interests focus on applications of synthetic methodology to nanotechnology. A Ph.D. in chemistry or in a closely-related field as well as postdoctoral experience are required.
