Works with Customer Operations and EnergyPlus employees to positively impact the competitive process.
  • Assists in preparation and implementation of new systems and procedures, obtains maximum effectiveness, and reduces corporate costs.
  • Assist in implementing system technologies in conjunction with business process initiatives that result in customer satisfaction (internal and external) as measured by department goals.

  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and support computer entry into Enrollment/Registration system, including preparation of job aids and development of business rules.
  • Responsible for maintaining necessary control tables within the registration and billing systems.
  • Assist in development of bill calculation spreadsheets for EnergyPlus manual billing customers. Instruct Customer Support staff in spreadsheet use.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Customer Support systems, including Acquisition, Enrollment/Registration, and Billing systems.
  • Responsible for development of financial reports including detailed revenue analysis and Accounts Receivable to support various aspects of EnergyPlus business.
  • Assist in determining system changes needed in the Acquisition, Enrollment/Registration, and Billing systems necessary to improve efficiency of Customer Operations.
  • Provide assistance with the implementation of processes relative to new market driven opportunities.
  • Assist in administration of customer billing sales tax records, contracts, and other items related document management.
  • Responsible for communications between Customer Operations and EDCs involving registration and usage information.
  • Contribute to the Corporate Safety Goals by developing and maintaining a responsible safety attitude.

  • Candidate Qualifications

    Candidates must meet the basic qualifications to receive consideration.

    Basic Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in Business or equivalent.
  • One to three years customer service or related experience.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad knowledge of customer service and billing business practices.
  • Working knowledge of database, PC, and mainframe applications, including the Microsoft Office suite of products.
