D rive the development of marketing tools and globally organized marketing activities for the Sequencing Solutions product portfolio (e.g. brochures, training manuals, slide decks, internet/intranet sites and other e-media, branding guidelines, congress stand designs, satellite symposia, posters, and standalone meetings).
K ey individual who identifies competitor activities and develops action to address them.
Maintains up to date knowledge of the global market for the Sequencing Solutions product portfolio.
Conduct market analyses and identify new opportunities for growth.
Manage a team of marketing and/or product managers to ensure business goals are achieved and leads strong team spirit.
Provide cross-functional team leadership to ensure adherence to product development and launch timelines.
Identify education, training, and support needs of regional marketing and sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
P rovides high level support and guidance to the affiliate companies on product issues.
Cultivates and develops Key Opinion Leaders, product advocates, speakers.
Manages events in terms of congresses and standalone meetings.
Ph.D. in life-sciences, or B.S. or M.S. with Five years of experience. MBA preferred
Proven experience in marketing management and product development
Broad knowledge of molecular biology and genomics
Strong leadership and concensus building skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent time-management skills
Confident, determined, self-motivated, enthusiastic
Ability to travel globally up to 25%
