Support the organizations (GPS, Tender & Capture teams, Project Execution, Power Service etc.) with promotions of technical details primarily for non-project specific issues
Lead and conduct generic promotions to all non-client entities (insurers, bankers, consultants etc.)
Train and update GPS staff on the Gas Business product portfolio.
Coordinate technical paper generation and present technical papers in commercial conferences.
Review Gas Business technology publication requests on behalf of the business.
Create a “Product Promotion Strategy”, develop a “Product Promotion Plan” from it and manage a “Promotion Tool Box”
(Standard product presentation material, reference list, Customer Information Bulletins (CIB), Internet, Intranet, conference plan, technical papers and articles, etc.)
Create the strategy for and promotional part of a “Product Launch Plan” and drive the introduction plan
Responsible for developing and updating material analysis for NAM Gas Market
Managerial (Budget / Administration / People)
Responsibilities related to time and cost for platform promotion plan for the NAM market
Execute the product promotion activities according “Product Promotion Strategies” and “Product Promotion Plans”
Establishment and continuously update of the promotional toolbox in line with established approval processes.
Approval authority for external product promotion related communications on the products of the Gas Business
Execution of the introduction plan of new products and upgrade packages as reviewed by the head of Product Platform Management and the Business SVP
Access to all relevant product information regarding costs, development cost & schedules, technology, risks, issues, etc.
Regular market trend updates
Execution of annual market analysis input to product strategies
Creation and implementation of “Product Promotion Strategy” on a yearly basis, approved by Heads of Product Platform Management and Sales &
Business SVP, updated as needed, and executed.
Creation and implementation of “Product Promotion Plan” on a quarterly basis with proposals for technical presentations, representations, promotional material and training sessions Continuous input delivered for Gas Exhibition & Event Plan and Calendar and support of implementation.
Promotional toolbox made available on the intranet, reviewed on a quarterly basis and updated on an as needed basis.
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Business or related field required.
MBA considered a plus
Expert gas turbine background
Highest knowledge of power plant systems
Knowledge and experience with marketing tools and methods
Excellent presentation skills
Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, as well as contractual technical requirements
Ability to work in an international environment and to form effective product promotion teams (i.e. on a conference or at a customer meeting)
Strong strategic and business skills
