GENERAL SUMMARY :
The Vice President Real Estate & Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the management and leasing of the entire Bob Evans Farms Inc. real-estate portfolio. Additionally, the incumbent develops and executes the 5 year real estate strategic capital plan. The position oversees the property management and leasing team. This position will be accountable for analyzing and executing site selection plans, as well as managing broker relationships to deliver the quantity and quality of sites to meet Bob Evans Farms Inc. growth plans.
Real Estate/Asset Management :
. Ensure that sites reflect organizational standards and align with long-term organizational goals.
. Strategically plan and direct all facility and real estate activities for the organization to ensure maximum return and profitability.
. Evaluates and prioritizes markets based on demographics, psychographics, competitive volumes and other factors that are known to impact restaurant sales volumes.
. Review, negotiate, and select real estate and direct ongoing property management.
. Direct cost estimates and space allocations.
. Establishes and maintains a strategic plan and pipeline of sites to meet Bob Evans Farms Inc. growth requirements.
. Develops economic models that create the framework for constructing Letters of Intent with prospective landlords.
. Responsible for carrying out real estate assets and obligations through to lease execution.
Capital Allocation :
. Serves as the key lead in the enterprise capital allocation and tracking process.
. Develops the short and long term capital allocation plan as it relates to real estate.
. Acts as the key point of contact for all facility - restaurant, food products and corporate -related capital allocation Requirements PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :
The individual selected for the Vice President of Real Estate & Asset Management position will posses:.
. A strong track record of success in a key leadership position in a well-regarded restaurant concept.
. The new Vice President will have deep knowledge and experience in restaurant development, real estate trends, site selection, analytics and a strong P&L orientation.
. Candidates should have strong financial analysis and modeling experience, demonstrated by the ability to leverage data in the support of acquisition and sale of new and existing real estate.
. The ability to thrive in a matrix organization and work well with outside agencies is also important.
. A Bachelor's degree in business, restaurant management, or related field or equivalent operations experience is required. An MBA or other graduate degree is highly desirable.
