As a Design Engineer, you'll serve as a critical member to Kohler's New Product Development teams, designing leading-edge products that completely transform the Kitchen and Bathroom experiences we know today. Envision yourself as part of a team that changes lifestyles by pioneering products like high efficiency and high-technology toilets, high performance showering systems, and VibrAcoustic technology.

Specific responsibilities include:
1 Originating consumer-centric ideas for new products, product features, and product modifications.
2 Establishing product specifications, designs, and test plans (products will be mechanical or electro-mechanical in nature).
3 Conducting engineering analysis and implementation of design modifications to optimize manufacturability and cost optimization.
4 Implementing a product into production via interdisciplinary collaboration.
5 Clearly and effectively presenting (both written and orally) the results of their efforts to their project teams and/or management.
Success begins with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 1-5 years of work experience in a related technical field (includes Co-Op/Internship experience). An understanding of 3D CAD Modeling is preferred, as are sound communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
