The Satellite Enterprise Training Lead will provide leadership for training program for 500+ satellite operations personnel across a multi-contractor, multi-site program. Position required excellent presentation skills and knowledge. Will be required to interface daily with Customers and associate contractors. Development and updating of multiple training presentations. Provide Innovation in training program and presentations. Will require travel several times per year to interface with training teams across the enterprise. Candidate should have the ability to help students learn materials, be able to acquire and teach technical concepts, and transfer knowledge to the students. Knowledge of Computer Based Training (CBT) is encouraged. Designs, develops, manages, conducts and evaluates custom technical training materials, assessments and programs. Develops complex new instructional strategies, methods, technologies, and tools related to instructional design, development, and delivery for internal and external customers. Responsible for maintaining, implementing, and supporting the multi-contractor training team. Work closely with the department heads and the local trainers. Maintain education data in the training database, provide regular reports on education requirements fulfillment, and maintain training policies and procedures. Must provide training metrics using collaborative tools.
Oversees the review and evaluation of customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design. Oversees activities the development, delivery and evaluation of technical training. Develops training concepts, techniques, and processes. Uses specialized software technology to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media and materials. Gathers data to support complete proposal development activities. Ensures accuracy and quality of training products. Presents proposals to customer and participates in contract negotiation. Consults with and coaches others regarding final product quality.
